MD6 Metabolic Drive Formula
MD6 Metabolic Drive Formula Critically acclaimed as the best fat-burner supplement on the market, MD6 has just been improved! Believe it or not, it's true.
New and Improved MD6
It's the end of an era. Norephedrine is now on the FDA hit list, so we had to change the MD6 formula, replacing norephedrine with another potent metabolic stimulator. No problem. Biotest is always one, King-Kong-sized step ahead of the changing times. And if we've done our R&D homework, like I think we have, I'll bet you'll be very excited about just how effective the new formula is.
Our reformulation team looked at using several different compounds as a substitute for norephedrine. Our biggest concern to overcome was how each of the other MD6 ingredients would interact. There's a specific overall effect we had in mind, and if possible, our goal was to make MD6 even better.
Based on our research and testing of the substitute stimulant, we've determined that, along with the norephedrine, we should remove the Guggul and replace it with 5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan). We felt that the thyroid support Guggul provides is inferior to the appetite suppressing and mood-elevating effects of 5-HTP.
Now, as a replacement for norephedrine, we debated between ephedrine HCl and a super extract of Ephedra sinica. At first glance, ephedrine HCl seemed the logical choice. But after analyzing the ephedra alkaloid mix found in the super extract of Ephedra sinica that we were fortunate enough to get our hands on, it's no question that Ephedra sinica is by far the best choice.
You see, in addition to ephedrine, the potent extract also contains four other powerful alkaloids, including our favorite l-norephedrine. I want to point out that this is only true if you're talking about legitimate, high-quality Ephedra sinica. Fortunately, our search led us to a great source of the elegant herb extract that we've locked up tighter than Bambi-the-fitness-babe's butt.
But does the new MD6 formulation work even better? In two areas, yes, for sure. The new formulation is much better at elevating mood, which is critical when dieting, and it's better at suppressing appetite for carbs. And regarding fat loss, by our estimations, it should have a decisive edge over the old formula. Totally cool, huh!?
To arrive at our new formula, like I said, we had to research the current literature to find out which compounds work best for our objectives. Next, we had to optimize the formula by adjusting the ratios between the ingredients to achieve the maximum effect. And lastly, we had to locate all of the sought after materials in their purest and most-potent forms. We wanted real "clean" compounds, not some junk that allowed us to hit our label claims. Here's the new formula:
New and Improved MD6
Capsules per bottle: 120
Each 2-capsule serving contains:
L-Tyrosine 200 mg
Alpha Lipoic Acid 200 mg
Caffeine 100 mg
5-HTP 25 mg
Ephedra sinica Extract 20 mg ephedra alkaloids
Yohimbine HCl 6 mg
To reiterate our original objectives, we designed MD6 to attack fat-loss from several different angles. And this multi-factorial approach creates a synergy that supercharges the body's fat-loss abilities -- big time!
Optimized Thyroid Function
It's simple. Go on a diet and you'll invariably shut down the thyroid's most-powerful hormone, T3. And as your thyroid shuts down, you're forced to eat fewer and fewer calories until you're losing muscle as well as fat. This downward spiral is inevitable, unless you provide the thyroid with certain hormonal building blocks that support the formation of T3.
The amino acid l-tyrosine is a precursor to the all-important T3 hormone, and a precursor to the stimulatory neurotransmitters epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine. These are powerful, "feel-good" chemicals that ramp-up the body and brain for action. Neurotransmitter stimulation is essential in maintaining optimal thyroid output while trying to lose fat.
Increased Insulin Sensitivity and Management
Trying to lose fat and being "insulin-resistant" is like swimming upstream with a 300-lb barbell on your shoulders -- it ain't gonna happen. And over time, our bodies become more and more resistant to the effects of insulin, which makes fat loss increasingly difficult. It's like you want receptor sensitivity to be as tender as a baby's behind, but what you wind up with is something tantamount to an 80-year-old sun-worshiper's tanned hide. In other words, it takes more insulin to get the receptors to work. And you can't get ripped if you can't control insulin -- you just get fat.
To the rescue is Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA). ALA is very effective at increasing both insulin sensitivity and glucose utilization, making it a powerful fat-fighting agent. And being able to clear glucose efficiently also makes ALA the ketogenic dieter's dream-come-true compound. Another good thing about ALA is that it's a powerful antioxidant. And with all of the oxidative stress we undergo while stimulating our bodies to burn fat, we need major free-radical control. Well, ALA's our man for this job, too.
Maximized Metabolic Thermogenesis
Stimulants, of course, are at the top of the list for metabolic manipulation. And just about everyone's who's dieted seriously has tried some form of an ephedrine-caffeine stack. In our new formula, we chose to replace l-norephedrine with a super-potent extract of Ephedra sinica, which contains four fabulous ephedra alkaloids, including l-norephedrine, that work synergistically to stimulate beta adrenoreceptors, suppress appetite, and elevate mood. The end result is mega thermogenesis.
Additionally, we increased the yohimbine HCl to be even more effective at targeting those pesky alpha-2 adrenoceptors. These are the fat-storing control centers that are located predominately in the lower body and obliques. Alpha-2 adrenoceptors are responsible for keeping those saddlebags on the thighs of women and love handles on men engorged with fat. It seems like no matter how much dieting is done, these areas never go away. Yohimbine effectively shuts off the alpha-2, fat-storage switches, and theoretically aids in losing fat in those stubborn areas.
Rounding out our thermogenic section is caffeine. Caffeine, of course, was added because it potentiates the effects of the other alkaloid stimulants.
